A black history of video game

  Today, i m not gonna talk about some game. I will discuss a disaster in the history of video game. This event was happened in America.
  In 70s of America, a company called ATARI, they released a video game machine, ATARI 2600. In the beginning of 80s, This company was very popular in America.
 And in 1982, is the 10th anniversary of ATARI. the annual sales approached 2 billions dollar. That is why ATARI became a  video game company that developed a lot. And 17% families had the products of ATARI. So, it's a very successful company.
  But, in the end of 1982, the whole video game industry of America became unsaleable. As the popular video game company, ATARI, they decide to bought the copyright of the famous movie "ET" by 25 millions dollar. They wanna save the company by the popular character ET.


 Then, this product was sold 150 millions, but they manufactured 400 millions. So, the rest of the games that unsaleable were fulled the storeroom of the company. The important part is the rest of the games were cleaned by one night.

  All the people heard from the urban legend about the ATARI sent those unsaleable game to the landfill in Alamogordo, New Mexico, United States. If this urban legends is right. This gonna be a very shameful and this was a large fail of ATARI.



To solve this, in 26th April, 2014, they started dig the trash and try tot find the game pack under the trash.
 Finally, they found some ATARI game machine and the video game "ET". ATARI used this shameful ways to end their company.
